Flu Vaccine

Today Henry will be taking the kids to my office for a flu vaccine. I reserved 4 vials for us, for me, Henry, Keisha, and Nicole.

The shots are good for an entire year, and they're only Php 350 each. I said to myself, having four vials would be Php 1,400 but we spend well over that whenever one of the kids or ourselves get sick, so might as well have the shot taken.

I wonder how the kids will be later. For sure there'll be some crying involved, but it's for the better and I hope they won't get mad at me.

White is Might!

Our bosses approved us QAs having Wednesday as a Theme Day, and for last Wednesday, the theme was White is Might. Starting last Wednesday and from then on, we will be exempted from the dress code policy where we are supposed to be in business casual attire on the said date. Here are pictures of me and my officemates in our White is Might theme day. Next Wednesday will be Summer Power if I'm not mistaken.

Love Is...

I first saw this picture in the cellphone of my officemate, and I kinda liked it. I find it funny, and I also find it sarcastically real. What do you guys think?

Moments with Henry

Henry, Keisha, and I went to SM Valenzuela yesterday not to go shopping, but to run some errands. One, we had to buy my mom in law a card, two we had to her her beaded bracelet fixed, and three, to buy boneless milkfish. I don't know if I've mentioned this in my blog already but I am hopeless when it comes to eating fish. I don't like having to take out bones and all. I'm more of the person who just likes to chew and chew (lol).

Going back, I asked Henry what he thinks we would be doing if we weren't married yet. We'd still be dating, just not married and living together. Henry then said we'd probably be vacationing in Boracay any time we choose to. Then we both looked at Keisha who was walking with us, happily eating a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Henry looked at me and said "Never mind, I've got a lot more than a Boracay vacation right here," and then he scooped up Keisha as we went for the parking lot.

The Last Day of the Work Week

Whew!

I am really glad that tomorrow is the last day of my work week. I work Monday to Friday EST and Tuesday to Saturday on my time.

Listening and grading calls all day can be tiring. Some people think that because you sit in an air conditioned room in a comfortable chair and in front of a 15 inch LCD monitor makes work easier.

No it doesn't.

I have goals to meet - the number of calls I should be able to listen to in a day and in a week. I'm glad that this week, including last week, I didn't have any trouble meeting this goal.

And I am really looking forward to spending my days off at home with the kids.

Web Hosting Geeks

I've been doing some thinking over the past few weeks. I've been thinking about buying a domain for all the 4 blogs that I have but I'm not sure if I really want to or not. For one thing, my blogs are doing just fine where they are right now, which is one of the reasons why I am pretty reluctant about moving it in the first place.

Second, since I participate in sponsored posts, I feel it will be such a big job to move all of the hundreds of posts, whether sponsored or not, to another URL. I would have to re-register my blogs and update all my information on all of the sites that I write for.

Third, my readers are already aware of my current URL and they've probably bookmarked it or saved it's RSS feed, so moving it will also impact my readers. Plus, as I've mentioned before, I have 4 blogs, so I would definitely need to look for multiple domain hosting.

I would like the concept of logging in to just one site with one username and password and have access to all of my blogs, which is what I currently have now. Another thing of course is cost. I would not like to end up paying for hosting in a way that all of my blog earnings would just go to paying off my domain host. Being a mom of 2 kids like me really requires a lot of ingenuity, especially when it comes to stretching our budget.

Good thing that there is a site that already does all the work for people like me who are thinking of buying a domain, and those who are looking to switch to another domain. The site I'm referring to is Web Hosting Geeks, and they have classified domain hosts according to budget, where to best host a blog or forum, email hosting, and even have a list of the top 10 best web hosts for 2009. Web Hosting Geeks gives its readers everything they need to know about a particular web host which allows them to make an informed decision about which web host to go with.

Absent from Work

Today I didn't go to work. Not because I'm sick, but because Nicole is the one who's sick this time. Her fever is at 40 degrees, and she's coughing and vomiting quite a bit. I'm already worried because in the history of her fevers, this is actually the highest one.

I decided to stay home because my mom in law hasn't slept a wink, so I'm watching over Nicole as my mom in law sleeps. Keisha's all well now, but now it seems the virus that struck our household has moved it's nasty fangs over to my youngest. I am hoping she gets better soon because she looks so heartbreaking when she coughs and when her fever is really high.

80 Degrees

I heard the weather is currently at 80 degrees in Arizona. Wow! Talk about hot!

But if you're the type of person who would like to bask in the heat of Arizona, you might want to check out some properties on SFP. Living in a place like Arizona certainly has its ups and downs, but it's different from anything you've certainly been used to.

For instance, imagine seeing cactuses as common as the roads. And, with the scorching heat, you'll certainly enjoy every dip and plunge in a swimming pool in the many properties in SFP has. For more information, you can call 480 - 391 - 7100.

I'm Better!

I'm glad to say that I'm better already. Not cured, just better. My cough and cold is still pretty bad, but I went to work earlier today. I've missed two days of work and I think that's enough. There will be too big of a deduction on me that I feel is needed, especially for the kids. Although there's no occasion, I just hate the feeling of not having money with me and then my kids point to something that they like in the mall and I can't buy it.
