I'm Back!

The last week has been a total nightmare for me. I was without a landline and internet for a week, which of course meant that I could not blog (huhuhu) and I probably lost a lot of money due to my non-blogging.

We also moved to a bigger house with a bigger bathroom that Keisha just loves. I like the fact that the house is very big compared to the previous one we were living in for almost 4 years. I found the move pretty hard to do, as I had grown so used to the house and the neighborhood. Even though some of our neighbors are rowdy and unbelievably noisy, I loved that place. But with two growing kids, a bigger house just seemed the way to go.

I finally have my new landline and internet through a different provider. I'm now with Bayantel and so far liking what I'm seeing. The internet's really fast and the installation was even faster. The monthly plan is also the same as when I was with PLDT. What I didn't like about PLDT though is that they will charge P1,500 just to move the DSL and another P1,200 to move the phone. Worse, the phone would be installed first, and the DSL to follow a week or so later. WIth the initial installation I experienced with PLDT, my installation took almost more than a month before everything was fixed.

So there, we just decided to dump our previous telco and go with a new one. I'm not comfortable though with a PPPOE setup of DSL which I have now with Bayantel, since I was used to a DHCP setting of PLDT. But so far it's been alright, I haven't experienced any disconnection issues while I'm online.

We'll see how everything goes, and I'll try to upload pictures of the new house as son as we finish tidying up the place. I guess a bigger house holds a lot more cleaning responsibilities than I thought it would.

Henry and his Glasses (and new uniform!)

Henry finally got his glasses done. I've been convincing him to get one for the longest time as his vision isn't that good anymore. He got his glasses done yesterday where my mother in law gets hers done, and also went out and bought his uniform for travel guiding. He looks pretty good, save for the fact that he looks like a professor (lol!)

Reshuffling Teams (again!)

In my stay with VXI since January, this will be the second time the team will be reshuffled. Some agents will be moving to a new LOB (line of business), while others like myself will be retained. Since today is the last day the reshuffled PWV5 will be together, we decided to take some pictures...but a lot of people ended up joining us in the pictures.

Ang Kaibigang Tunay - Keisha Zacharie B. Macapagal

I finally retrieved the video of Keisha performing at school. Well, it may have been accidentally deleted, but I'm glad that we finally have it. The video ends abruptly though, and there's one more line Keisha has to say but the video ends. But all's well. I'm just glad I have a video of hers at her very first contest.

The "Look"

For more widgets please visit www.yourminis.com

When you're at a public place, say a bar, a party, or any other social gathering and you find someone that just simply catches your attention - what do you do? Of course, you put your best foot forward to make that good and lasting first impression and of course, you throw off a "look" that'll spark their interest and hopefully, approach you.

Whenever I want something done from my husband, I always give him this look:

For my husband, a smile always wins him over and pretty much puts me in control (lol). I can say that at that moment, when I woo him into doing what I want, I've achieved Victory Hair. It's when I get what I want and things go my way. Of course, a pout, a small frown, and a toss of my hair also do the trick.

The widget above is called the Ultimate Flirting Championship and it's a great way for you to test your flirting skills with other online people. This game is bought to us by Extreme Style by VO5. Since of course you won't be seeing each other through the game, your responses to the questions the players will provide, or the questions you'll be providing is a great way to get to know someone and who knows? You just might have met that special someone you've been looking for.

A Black Butterfly

Henry's cousin Jeffrey passed away the week before last. With everything so busy I didn't even get the chance to blog about it. A couple of days after, a black butterfly dropped by our house and rested on the mat that my mother in law stretches out when she's putting the kids down for an afternoon nap. They say that a black butterfly is a dead person paying a visit, and I'd like to think it's true, since Keisha is Jeffrey's godchild.

RIP Jeffrey, we'll miss you.

The -Ber Months are Here!

It's just a few winks away until the -ber months are here. I'm referring to September, October, November, and December. I think it was my mom that had the idea of calling these months the -ber months or something, I don't remember exactly.

I recall feeling this exact same feeling a year ago when I wrote a post about September already being near. This month also means that Keisha is turning 5. *sigh* Time flies really fast. Henry and I better start preparing early for Keisha's 5th birthday as she plans on having the party at school.
