Working with VXI

I'm currently employed for another contact center called Vision-X. It's like 30 minutes away from where I live and so far, things have been turning out great.

For starters, our HR talk answered most of my underlying concerns, like HMOs for my kids, allowances, etc. My basic pay is far bigger than what I used to have with eTelecare, nor any other contact center I have worked for, plus the fact that I also have a non-taxable Perfect Attendance Bonus which is based weekly and is something that I will strive to get as often as I can.

I don't want to say that the company is great, since I've only been there for 3 days. But during these 3 days of training, so far, I like it a lot and I have no complaints.

Hi! Not sure how you'll read this but hopefully you'll come visit this blog again for my response...For my account, yes the compensation is better than I expected it to be. Plus the fact that you have additional incentives for having perfect attendance, spifs, and the basic pay is big. I work at their QC site in Munoz, and it's also very near where I live. The downside is, unlike when I worked for Convergys and eTelecare, they automatically enroll you for a free HMO. Here at VXI, you need to wait to be regularized before you get your HMO card, but every 6 months after, you get to enroll a dependent of yours for free.

I'm not saying that the company is perfect, as no company is. But what I can say though is that this is the call center where I have earned the most. If you're interested, you can send me an email and I'll be happy to refer you over, so that if you pass, we get the referral reward of 5k. Of course, I'm assuming you already have call center experience as they do not hire call center virgins.

ay ganun? di po sila accept ng wala pa experience? sayang naman kasi malapit lang rin ito sa amin.

Im a college graduate po, BSN from MCU.. if you have any positions available, pls. contact me...

Hi Argelo,

Actually madami nang nagbago sa policies nila, like yung HMO and sa hiring. What I know is pwede na ang walang previous experience. I am not so sure anymore kasi nag resign na ako a few months back, pero the office in Munoz is always hiring. Good luck!

Hi, Ms. Leslie Ann! I'm researching about VXI because I am planning to apply there within this week.

This will be my first time to apply in a call center. Can you give me some tips on how to ace the initial interview and the exam? I applied for their Money Transfer account in Makati. I have no idea about the interview questions that I am going to encounter.

Also, I didn't know that there's also a Q.C. branch. Ms. Leslie, I am just from Espana area, can you tell me how to go to VXI Munoz from my place? Thank you.

Leslie Ann said...

Hi Maria Elissa!

I wish you the best of luck since this will be your first time to apply for a call center position. Don't get intimidated and just keep your cool when it comes to the oral interviews.

As for the exam, hahaha, nakalimutan ko na! Basta I'm sure it's something you'll pass, just focus on the questions and answer what you think is right. Kung money transfer yung account, maybe Wushu un or how we call Western Union. May ganung account din kasi sa QC.

Hindi kasi ako familiar sa Espana area pero if you know how to get to SM North Edsa, di ka na maliligaw. The office is beside the Iglesia ni Cristo, and is in front of the WalterMart in Munoz. Medyo malapit sya sa Savemore na grocery ng SM North Edsa.

I wish you the best and I hope after your application you'll drop by here and tell me what happened. Sayang I resigned already kasi yung byenan ko left for the States and there's no one to watch my kids. I really miss the people there though.

Hi! Thanks for the quick reply. Sayang naman, hindi kita makikita personally IF EVER makapasa ako. Haha!

Anyway, kinakabahan talaga ako. Ewan. Hahaha! I think you should consider re-applying as soon as you'll be able to find someone who'll look after your pretty babies.

Thanks! I'll drop by here always. Thanks!

hello po,

when i started working back in January 2008 and when I resigned in August 2009, I was under a tech account for VOIP before I got promoted to QA. So far sa Munoz, yun lang ung alam kong tech account during those times, pero I am not so sure ngayon. try mo na din mag drop by to apply and inquire. madami naman accounts na madali lang pero malaki magbayad. yung account ko dati, the starting salary was 18k plus 5k perfect attendance bonus, wala pa dun ung other incentives. every 6 months may performance assessment pa, which means an increase in salary.

WOW, NAPAKAINFORMATIVE NAMAN PO NG INSIGHTS NYO ABOUT VXI MUNOZ! I WAS PRETTY HOPELESS NA PO NA MAKAKITA NG CC AROUND QC NA OK ANG STARTING SALARY..MEDYO NA DISCOURAGE DIN PO KASI AKO SA MGA FORUMS ABOUT VXI, PURO NEGATIVE AT PANINIRA LANG ANG NABABASA KO, NGYN MAY NAKITA AKO NA MEJO POSITIVE WHICH IS ENOUGH FOR ME NA MACONVINCE TO GIVE IT A TRY SA VXI. I WAS A TSR BEFORE SA TELETECH CAINTA, I HAD THE FORTUNATE CHANCE TO STAY WITH MY SISTER'S PLACE SINCE TAGA CAINTA SYA, BUT THEY HAD TO RELOCATE AND PAYING FOR 2 RENTS ISNT PRACTICAL AT ALL, BY THE WAY I HAVE BEEN A RESIDENT OF QC FOR ALMOST TEN YRS NOW, SO THE LOCATION WILL NEVER BE AN ISSUE SHOULD I GET HIRED SA VXI MUNOZ.I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS BLOG OF URS PO, MARAMING SALAMAT.

Hi, Presently, I am working as finance manager in a recording company and i want to try the "Call Center" thing. I called HRD by the name of Vivian, and she asked me to go to their office in Munoz, bring my resume. I also asked her if there is an age limit, she said "no age limit". I am already 56 years old but in my best of health. I dont have any call center experience but hopefully I would pass the tests that will come my way. Lucy

hello po,

for everybody who made a comment on this post, VXI Munoz is always hiring. As for the accounts na available sa site, hindi na po ako updated kasi I resigned na months ago mula ng mag-migrate ang byenan ko sa Hawaii.

Madami na din pong policies na nagbago, like sa HMO nila. Once hired, may medicard ka na. I would suggest dropping by the site. Ilalagay naman po kayo ng HR Team sa account na best fit sa inyo. I wish you all the best sa pag-aaply nyo. :)

hi.. i would like to ask if they accept applicants who are college undergrads? 2yrs lang po kasi natapos ko for my bsn then i shifted to a vocational course kaso 2 trimesters lang din natapos ko.. may chances po ba na tumanggap sila ng wala pang degree. sa jobstreet po kasi nakalagay sa mga qualifications kelangan may college diplome ..

Leslie Ann said...

Hello po,

I am no longer updated with the policies of the company anymore as it is almost a year since I've resigned. Before I left, there were already a lot of changes in favor of the employees being implemented, like the change in HMOs. Dati kasi, pag na-regular ka lang magkakaron ng HMO. Bago ako umalis, as soon as you get hired, meron ka na and once you get regularized, you can add dependents na.

Good luck sa application mo. Last week when I passed by the Munoz site there was a big banner saying they're hiring hundreds of agents to fill in tech, cust care and sales position.

Anonymous said...

Hi ms Leslie! Your blog is a great help. ask ko lang po if pwedeng walk in applicants? balita ko po kasi iba ang place pag mag-aaply. Thanks! Ü

Leslie Ann said...

Yes po pwede mag walk in. I was a walk in applicant myself. :)

Once you get to the Munoz site, you'll see this big banner saying they're hiring. Good luck! :D

Hi leslie! Just want to ask for possible shifts n applied. Munoz is the most convenient for me. Is there a chance to have a morning shift? Could u give me some set of time shifts n most likely applied sa vxi-munoz? Thanks!

Anonymous said...

Ms.Leslie, just wanted to ask during the time you resigned did you pay any bond, kasi when i signed the J.O it was stated there that voluntarily or involuntary you need to pay 20k. wala naman sa labor code yun..but did you pay?

Hi Ms. Leslie!

Is it true? (Well, based on my understanding),the perfect attendance bonus is on a weekly basis? 5k a week if ever?.. am i getting it right?.. haha.. :D

BTW, I have an interview with them tomorrow, wish me luck!
