Going Crazy

Henry's gone again. This time he'll be in Banaue and won't be back until March 3. I'm going nuts already since he just came back from Ilocos and he's left again. This inexplicable loneliness of mine is slowly getting the best of me - whenever Henry's not home I just can't bring myself to eat. I don't have the energy to do anything else but mope around the house. I guess I'm just not in the mood to do anything else but be lonely.

Henry's Coming Home!

It's just a matter of hours before Henry comes home from his trip to Ilocos. He was supposed to come home about lunchtime later but I asked him to go straight home. He still has to wait for his salary at his office around lunch, but he'll just go back there tomorrow to pick it up and spend the night here.

I am so happy and relieved that he'll be home.

Ilocos - Day 3

Oh well, here's the third miserable day that Henry's not with me. Yeah sure, I totally understand that he's there for work and nothing else, but I just can't help but feel lonely. I've been used to seeing him smile and smelling him beside me but that's all not going to happen until Monday.

I'm really lonely without him although I have the company of my kids with me. I'm just making myself busy with the fact that there's a lot to do at work and that we're taking in calls and I'm making pretty good sales. But when I get home, that's when the loneliness sets in

Ilocos - Day 2

Today's the second day that Henry's off to Ilocos. It's still driving me nuts, and the loneliness is unbearable. I'm beginning to lose my appetite (which is a good thing) but I just can't help but feel sad.

I miss smelling and seeing him goofing around with the kids. I miss him waking me up in the morning before I go to work. I think I'll be OK by Monday afternoon, when he comes back home.

Ilocos - Day 1

Yesterday up to Monday will be torture for me. Henry's gone on a trip to Ilocos and it's also giving me a trip to the nuthole. I miss him every second.

This isn't the first time he's gone on a long tour. He's actually gone to several long tours, but every single one just feels like new all over.

I miss knowing that he'll be home or that he'll wake me up when the alarm clock buzzes for work. I was actually late in going to work today - I guess I am so used to him being around.

I really miss him, and I am really beginning to be lonely. I just busy myself with the company of my kids and blogging.

I Got It!

I was finally able to buy the phone I've been raving about. It's the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and I just love it. It has 80MB of internal memory and an 8GB memory card that I'm currently filling with songs. I also love the WiFi that it has - I'm able to reserve more blogging opportunities and write them when I get home.

This phone is also touch screen, with a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash. There's just lots and lots you can do with it and I'm glad I finally found a phone that really fits my needs.

Henry Blowing his 28th Birthday Cake

Scents 101

What perfumes do you like?

I have always disliked musky scents. I know a lot of people are into musky scents because it smells sexy or something, but I really don't like musky scents. I'm also not into fruity scents, or those scents that smell sweet. It's kinda hard to describe what scents I like - I just fall in love with a certain scent and that's about it.

Like Eternity by Calvin Klein for instance. It's not fruity and musky and sweet. I also like Happy by Clinique because it smells really clean. My kids use Johnson's Baby Cologne, and I like it on them because it smells really fresh.

How about you, what perfumes do you like?

Henry's Birthday

Here's some pictures of the food we prepared for Henry's birthday. There's the big cake loaded with 28 small candles, lots and lots of lasagna, and pancit - although I think the pancit wasn't included in the picture.

Getting addicted to alcohol is certainly an issue that a lot of people face. But as they say, it's not how many times you fall, but how quickly you get up. One step to overcome this addiction is by going to alcohol rehab.

The Promises Malibu facility is perfect for those who are used to luxury like celebs, business executives, and those who prefer excellent quality for alcohol treatment while in a beautiful setting, taking into consideration the highest of privacy standards.

Thank You

Hi everyone!

Thanks for dropping by and greeting Henry on his birthday. We really appreciate it. I haven't had the time to upload the pictures and the video of him blowing his cake, but I sure will soon.

My parents and my sister Elena came over too, and we had fun eating out. Henry's uncle also helped us cook pancit, so it wasn't really as tiring as other birthdays wherein I was literally hands and knees down in cooking.

Part of my plan was to buy those small candles for Henry's cake so that he'd have a hard time blowing them out (lol) and I found just the exact candles I had in mind at the shop where I bought his chocolate cake. I didn't want tobuy him just a 2 and an 8 candle, so I loaded 28 pieces of those small candles on his cake. And just as my mom in law and I predicted, it took him about 3 blows before he got everything out!

It was such a fun day for all of us, and I'm really thankful for everyone who took part and in greeting him. See you all next year!
