The life of a nurse is no joke. It is serious hard work and the hard work lasts for hours and hours. Worse, these hours can be any hours of the day - including the wee hours. Scrubs are the usual outfit that people associate nurses with. White scrubs are usually the most common, since they represent cleanliness.

A nurse's life is very hard and rewarding at the same time. You get to help and take care of people and nurse them back to health. A nurse's career is also continuously evolving - at first you start to be a student nurse, then a new nurse, and eventually a seasoned nurse and help new nurses and teach them the lessons that can only be learned through experience.

If you happen to have a friend or a relative who is a nurse, nominate them for a Scrubby. You can make a friend or a family member their own award based on the times they make you laugh, the best smile, and so on. It's a great way to brighten someone's day. Or, you can participate in a nursing poll like if you are a fan of ER, House, etc, you can choose which is your favorite fictional portrayal of a nurse, what best to eat to de-stress, what to wear, and other questions nurses often find themselves asking.
