A New Template

It's been months since I changed templates, but I stumbled across this one and I just couldn't help but try it out. I think it looks great, as it still has three columns plus my posts are kept on the left side of the page.

I think I'll be keeping this template on this blog for now, and I plan on changing the template on Keisha's blog when I find a nice three column Blogger template with a kiddie theme on it. Maybe I'll stumble across Spongebob Squarepants, Keisha's favorite cartoon.

What's In A Name?

If I could choose another name for myself aside from Leslie, I guess it would be Rei, it's a Japanese name that means light. One of the reasons why is that since Japanese people cannot pronounce the letter L, my Japanese friend often calls me Rei. Second, I am a fan of Japanese manga and I loved Neon Genesis Evangelion where Rei was a character.

Being a manga fan, I am looking forward to Bleach the Movie. Having watched the animated series at a local network, I love the manga and I wonder how the movie will go. I wonder what Ichigo Kurosaki, whose name means “First Guardian” or “He who protects” will be up to.

First Day of School

Yipee!

I guess tomorrow is every parent's dream - to send their child off to their first day at preschool. Keisha's off to school tomorrow, from 1 in the afternoon up to 3:30. Her classes are just 2 and a half hours every day from Monday to Friday, and Henry and I intentionally chose the afternoon schedule as our eldest is really not a morning person, plus the fact that I would like to spare her the hassle of waking up really early.

My mother in law ironed her uniforms which she'll be wearing from Monday to Thursday, and on Fridays, she'll be wearing her P.E. uniform with rubber shoes. Henry and I took Keisha and Nicole out to SM earlier so that we could buy juices and snacks for Keisha to eat while in school.

Since Keisha didn't sleep this afternoon, she's already out for the night after her night bath. I'm glad she's getting an early rest as she's up for a big day tomorrow.

Out for Two Days

I've been out sick for two days now. I wasn't able to go to work for two days as I felt really bad. Henry and I went to the hospital for a check-up at the Fatima University, and the doctors there took a sample of my blood for a CBC test. I've been with a fever, cough and colds for the past few days and the meds I've been taking seem to be of no good.

I'm still not feeling well, to be perfectly honest, but I have to go to work later tonight. There's so many deductions that have been taken out of my pay, and I can't afford another deduction. There's so many bills to pay and obligations to settle that I can't afford to be out for another day. Since tomorrow is going to be a relatively easy day, I'll just take it easy tomorrow at work.

Keep your fingers crossed that I don't fall into a relapse.
