Web Hosting Geeks Friday, June 12, 2009

For people with blogs like me and are thinking of buying a domain, webhosting is something we should research on. There are lots of web hosts or providers to choose from but finding out which web provider to go with is the tricky part.

There are several factors to consider, like the bandwidth, what platform the provider will use, and of course, the monthly costs. Good thing there is a site called Web Hosting Geeks that does all the research for us. They have compiled a list of the web hosts over the internet and give an accurate and fair review of the pros and cons (if any) that each web hosting provider has.

Web Hosting Geeks also compiled the web host providers that received awards like Best Blog Hosting, best multiple domain hosting, and green web hosting. The latter may be something new to others. Actually, green web hosting are where web hosts use alternative and/or renewable energy, plant trees, and recycling waste to power their datacenters. Kinda makes you feel good about your role in saving the environment, huh?

Web Hosting Geeks provides readers with webmaster reviews and customer reviews, which gives one a pretty good view of what exactly the web host provider can give. It is best to know as much as you can about a web host provider before taking the plunge and hosting your site.

Joyland Online Casino Monday, February 11, 2008

I was looking for casino games that offered a starting or joining bonus and my searching took me to Joyland Casino. This site is a virtual casino wherein you feel you're really playing in a real casino but really just in the comfort of your home. Since internet casino gambling online has been really popular nowadays, there are already tons of sites offering the same thing.

What made me take a second look at Joyland Casino is their $808 welcome bonus for new players. Now that's a lot of money right there. Also, their website is really cool and easy to use, and also very thoughtful. The first time you open the site a pop up window will appear asking you if you want to install their software while you're browsing around the site. Saves you time, right?

A Site for Online Billiards Saturday, February 02, 2008

I have to admit - I'm a frustrated billiards player and I am an absolute fan of Efren "Bata" Reyes. But since I don't have that much (or any at all) skills in playing billiards, I found a site out that allows you to play online billiards. The site I came across also features online snooker and even billiard tournaments. I can practice all I want and play snooker and billiards at the comfort of my home without having to worry that there would be someone in the room laughing at how unskilled I am in these games. For now, I'll try to learn as much as I can playing off of the website and wait until I get better at it. Watch out guys!

32Vegas Friday, January 04, 2008

32Vegas is another online casino site that I recently came across that offers a 24 by 7 support staff to assist customers with any help or inquiries they may need. The site gives one the feeling that they're actually in a Vegas casino with more than 130 casino games of the highest quality.

Owned and operated by Crown Solution Gaming Ltd., 32Vegas operates under a license granted by the government of Kahnawake and features maximum security over their secure website, and their 24/7 staff are all highly-trained to watch out for any players who are abusive, underage, or those that may disrupt the normal game for other players.

It's another site to try out.

Online Backgammon Tournaments Friday, December 07, 2007

I hope it's not getting too obvious that I'm really getting my hands into as much information on online casinos and gambling.

I stumbled upon another website called Gammon World that allows users to play backgammon, another popular game online. For those who aren't familiar with the game, backgammon is a board game wherein pieces are moved after each role of the dice. The player wins when he removes all of his pieces from the board.

Gammon World offers live, online backgammon tournaments everyday on their website that is very pleasing to the eyes with the use of great color combinations and useful tabs and links on the header of the page. There are huge cash prizes, and everyone is a winner.

The main page of the site provides information on online casinos payouts table, and the sidebars are loaded with relevant links on online gambling, biggest jackpots, online tournaments, etc.
