I came across this site called LA Police Gear. The site was founded by Los Angeles Police Officers and serves the general public, military personnel, security professionals, the police, and pretty much anyone who would like to buy their products.

There are several products that are available for purchase, like a 5.11 Tactical Knife, surefire flashlights, galco holsters, underamor, footwear and boots, pants, and other durable equiment. LA Police Gear also pride themselves in extremely fast shipping, low prices, and oustanding customer servce. Their products are available for purchase by anyone who is interested in their gear. Should you have any questions or need clarification while ordering on the website, there is an online customer service chat support one can utilize to address their concerns.

A promotion that LA Police Gear is having right now is that they will be including a Shick Quatro titanium razor for free. This particular razor features four blades for that ultra-smooth and ultra-clean shave. Also, you can choose to sign up for SMS message alerts if LA Police Gear has any updates or even text message coupons you can use to buy items with a discount. A Very Productive Day Off

After I got the QA position at work, tonight will be the 1st day off I'll have in the week. Last week, instead of 2 days off, I only got a few hours worth of rest. What's funny is that last night, I fell asleep several times during training. I hate falling asleep at work or when I'm doing something, and my co-QAs were having a hard time waking me up.

Today when I got home, I slept for 3 hours and then Henry woke me up for lunch. After which, I proceeded with starting the laundry, went to have my training manual book bound, and then went for more laundry. Henry helped me rinse the curtains and the bedsheets as they were too big and heavy for my small hands. Then we ate dinner and now here I am!

I'm already really sleepy but I want to finish blogging tonight so that I'll have all day tomorrow with my kids. The new shift I'm in just hasn't sinked into my body clock yet, but hopefully it will soon.

I got Locked Out Yesterday

Silly me forgot my house keys yesterday when I went to work. So I came home I guess around 15-20 minutes before 7am (my new schedule is 9pm-6am by the way) and don't quote me on this as I was really sleepy I'm not sure if I was reading the time right anymore. So I knock and I knock but my mom in law and my kids just didn't wake up. I understood as I knew they probably slept wee hours in the morning while reviewing Keisha for her exams and they had the door to the room closed so that Nicole won't get out the room and come tumbling down the stairs. So I knock. And knock. And knock.

And what the f**k it's already past 9am. I guess I finished a pack of cigarettes already just waiting for someone to wake up. I was already making a lot of noise. I was ringing our landline phone, buzzing our doorbell nonstop, knocking on the door with a coin, and screaming my lungs out. Yes, I can multi-task, and I was able to do all of those things at the same time. I tried picking our lock with my ID but it just wouldn't budge. So there. I decided to walk around first as I was really sweaty, stinky, and sleepy, and my fingers felt they were already dislocated because of knocking and knocking.

That was when I went to my mom in law's sister's house. She had her son knock on the door with me. Oh, and did I mention that my neighbors who lived on the left and the right side of our house were also knocking on our windows and our door as well? One of them even gave me something to drink, another one a bag of chips, and lo and behold! Even more cigarettes came pouring on me. But the neighborhood's efforts were to no avail. Until my mom in law's sister's husband came to the rescue. Bless his soul, but for a man, he seriously has a loud mouth and literally pounded on our door so loud that it sent my mother in law running down the stairs.

So finally, more than 2 hours later, I got to enter my house and collapsed on the bed. They all had a good laugh about it, but I sure didn't. I learned my lesson though. When I woke up in the afternoon I had our darn house key duplicated and pinned it to my company ID. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Spitz Tunes Now

My First Day as a QA Analyst

Today was my first day in training as a Quality Assurance Analyst at work. The account I was assigned to is an account that I've handled before in my previous call center, so the product training was like a refresher for me.

I made new friends, and the day went surprisingly well. I must say, even though I was pissed off at how things started out, I had a great time. Imagine this, I was getting ready to get to bed for my 2am shift when I received a text message informing me that I had to report at 9pm for training. I was like, "That's 2 hours away from now!" So, without any sleep (as in no sleep, even a wink) I went to work with a heavy heart. What even made me sadder is that Henry came home from work early and I was really looking forward to spending some time with him.

Oh well, I guess you just can't have everything. I'm just thinking that after training, I'll get the morning shift so I can stay at home during nights for a change.

On Gas and Electric Fireplaces

Winter is just around the corner and in other parts of the world, the cold season has come as well. So what are you guys doing in order to keep yourselves warm?

Well, some people might be planning on a trip to where it's sunny, and some just might make use of their gas fires as they have been used to. Even fireplaces nowadays have been modernized with electric fires. If you were to think about it, electric fires are actually great as there are no burnt wood and ashes to clean up, and you don't have to worry about bits of burnt wood flying around your furniture and your house as well should a strong gust of wind come about.

Hole in the Wall Fires are also something that is very modern, as it is something that is sure to spice up any modern house, without forgetting its main purpose - to warm the room up! There are several great hole in the wall fires, like those being sold by this website called Hotprice.

If you're unfamiliar about Hotprice, they are a UK retailer of gas fires and electric fires. They also stock all the leading brands of fireplace manufacturers. Being featured several times on UK TV, the styles of gas fires and electric fires that they offer range and vary from the traditional ones to those that are very modern and contemporary. Do check out this site as I'm sure you'll find a style you'll love!

Sleeping at Work

I dozed off about an hour or so at work earlier today. I find myself dozing off every now and then as this entire week has been a real mess for me. I get about 3-4 hours of sleep each day. With so many errands to run and with only my mom in law to help with the kids, I don't even get to rest after work. I hate dozing off at work, since I feel so inefficient. But these past 2 days, I just can't help it.

The only time I do get to sit down is after I've taken Keisha to school. By that time, my mom in law is putting Nicole to sleep and I can finally sit down, which I use the time to blog.

I also found a nice list of jokes about dozing off at work, and I thought you might want to read it in case you find yourself in a similar situation. Please visit the list of jokes by clicking here.

Terribly Confused

I'm normally not one to judge quickly. Before I make a decision, I always think it through. Well, there are times when I regret a decision I made, but now I just don't know what's wrong and going on.

Lately things in my personal life have not been going too well. It's one of those times wherein Henry and I just don't seem to get along. I can't help but feel sad, and no matter what I do, our tempers always get the best of us and we just start shouting our heads off.

Don't get me wrong, even though things aren't going my way right now, I am sure we'll get through this phase. It's just a phase, I always tell myself that. But sometimes I don't even know what the heck we're fighting about, or why we're even fighting about such a shallow subject.

As I said before, we have our ups and downs, and I guess this is just part of the down phase. I hope we manage to get ourselves quickly out of this as I can't help but feel sad all the time.

Pigging out on Ice Cream

My mom in law, Keisha, and Nicole just got back from Tita Baby's store with ube-flavored ice cream. It took them less than a minute to finish off this container, and now we're trying out the cheese flavored one.

I guess this means goodbye to our so-called diets for now.

And here's Nicole drinking milk from her bottle, wondering what all the commotion about the ice cream is about. She's pretty big for a year and 4 months, don't you think?

Keisha and Nicole Together

I bought a can of cheese flavored Pringles after payday since it was Keisha's favorite. She shared it with Nicole, and they just looked so sweet together on the couch nibbling away, I just had to take pictures of them.

I'm not Alone

I was just reading TL James' blog as Doods and I infected him already with the blogging virus. TL or team leader James is one of the supervisors in the contact center I work for, and he's also happily married like me. I always notice him and his wife happy together, and as I was browsing through his posts, I read one which showed just how much he loves his wife by making sure courtship doesn't stop with the knot. I'm also glad that I'm not the only mushy-in-love blogger around!

Do read his post by clicking here...I'm sure you'll just fall in love with being in love.

I got it!

I had my final interview for the Quality Assurance Specialist at work around 3:30am, and my three interviewers informed me after several minutes that I was hired! Being a QA is a step up from being an agent, which I have been for a total of 3 years already. It would be a nice change of environment to not be an agent anymore.

I'll miss all the friends that I've made in the 10 months that I've stayed with my account, but I didn't dream of being an agent forever. At least before my mother in law migrates to the States and me quitting working altogether, at least I won't be resigning as an agent.

What confuses me is the fact that half of me wants to stay where I am and the other half wants to grab the opportunity to be promoted. I still have not been presented with a job offer as a Quality Assurance Specialist and I have not signed a new contract yet, so if this gut feeling of mine becomes too overwhelming, I still have the chance to say no. Oh well, I guess I'm just confused.

Applying for a Promotion

Where I work, if you want to get promoted, you have to apply for the promotion. So yesterday, I submitted my letter of intent to apply as a QA Analyst and earlier today, I took my interview and exam. Other agents who took the same exam finished it an an average of 3 hours, but I finished it in 2, took a break, and then proceeded for my interview.

Arnel from recruitment called me up to inform me that my final interview was scheduled for tomorrow at 3am. Since I'm already there at 2am, there's really not much of a difference. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get the position.

The Phone I Want for Christmas

Motorola Rokr E8

This is the phone I want for Christmas...Any kind-hearted persons out there? I'm accepting donations...Lol. I just want to take better pictures of my kids and play music while on the go, that's all. :-(

Thoughts on our 5th Wedding Anniversary

My husband Henry and I have been a couple since May 17, 2000 (I still remember the date!) and we got married on November 10, 2003, shortly after Keisha was born. Whenever I look back and think of all the years we've spent together, I just can't help but smile.

Things didn't start out easily for us. We married early, barely had money, and we had a kid to raise. But our desire to make our relationship work was far stronger than the obstacles we were facing. We worked hard, even to the point that we barely saw each other, but we didn't mind. We both had a common goal, and that was to make our lives better for our kid.

Now, years later, I'd have to say we're doing a lot better than before. We can afford luxuries now, when before all we could buy were our necessities. I remember the time when it was days away from payday and we spent our money buying our eldest her milk and we just ate instant noodles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner until payday came.

I look at Henry and I just can't help but realize how lucky I am. He is a very loving husband and a responsible father. I am amazed at how the years have not mellowed our feelings for each other but instead have turned it into a much deeper love and respect for one another. Don't get me wrong, we do have our share of ups and downs, but there's nothing life can throw at us that we won't be able to overcome. I just can't imagine spending the rest of my life without him.

A couple of nights ago, while we were cuddling in bed waiting for sleep to come, Henry turned to me and asked me if I'd love him for as long as he lived. I honestly choked back a tear and said, "No, I'll love you for the rest of my life."

I guess I'm being too mushy already, but I just wanted to write down what I'm feeling.

Henry at Science Discovery Center

Whenever I am reminded of how often Henry thinks about me, I can't help but smile.

I received this picture in my email recently. He sent it when he was away on a field trip to the Science Discovery Center. I am just flattered at how he thinks about me even when he's away and busy at work.

I guess I'm just a really lucky gal.

An Accident

The bus Doods and I was riding earlier today when we went home bumped into the rear of another bus. Doods and I were rammed into our chairs and my right knee hit the chair as well. Worse, it took them minutes before they could get the door open.

You can read more about our accident in Doods' blog post and check out the pictures as well.

Me and my Mom in Law

Here's a pic of me and my mom in law when we celebrated Keisha's 5th birthday at Star City. We had a great time there, and I'm sure she enjoyed being with her grandkids. Her birthday's also coming up, on the 9th. I'm wondering what to get her for her birthday. Any ideas?

Zenni Optical was on FOX news!

I've written about Zenni Optical before, and I don't mind writing about them again as they are really an amazing company. Great Eyeglasses For Less are exactly what you'll find in Zenni Optical, as well as Variable Dimension Frames From Zenni. For as little as $8, you can buy a pair of eyeglasses with it's matching case that look like this:

For stylish people out there, these glasses are a great deal. They're made by Zenni Optical themselves with quality materials you can choose from. The secret behind their low prices are the fact that they manufacture their own products and directly sell them to customers online, with no middleman and advertising budget. So for me who's already familiar with Zenni, it's no surprise that Zenni Optical was on FOX news! You can read more about Zenni on Fox by clicking that link.
